Angela Dugan, a developer tools evangelist with Microsoft, provided great insight into the various aspects of testing that are available within Visual Studio 2010 and TFS 2010.  Given that the audience consisted of developers as opposed to pure QA (although realizing there is some overlap between the two roles), Angela began by describing what testing and QA features were new in VS 2010, including:
- Coded UI tests (which you can then modify)
- Manual tests
- Test case management
- Test lab management
- Data collectors (assisting in reproducing bugs)
- Web performance tests and reporting

While some features are only available in select versions of Visual Studio, all have the potential to greatly assist shops of any size.
